What precautions are you taking during COVID-19?2020-11-16T12:07:40-08:00

Ensuring the health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority. We are closely following the ongoing and evolving recommendations of Dr. Bonnie Henry, Provincial Health Officer, and WorkSafe BC to ensure a safe environment. As of Monday November 16, customers are required to wear masks when entering the store.

When visiting the store you will see:

  • Reduced occupancy levels to allow for physical distancing (limited number of customers permitted in the store at once)
  • Plexiglass shields and hand sanitizer at the cash desk
  • Enhanced cleaning and sanitization
  • Contactless pay options
  • Curbside pickup (please call to make arrangements).

Due to the reduced occupancy levels, there may be times that customers are asked to wait outside before being permitted in. If you are shopping with others, all of you may not be permitted in at the same time if we are unable to meet our occupancy level limits. We suggest splitting up into smaller groups, or staggering your visits. Please know this is for the safety of our customers and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. We appreciate your patience.

Yes, you can purchase and pay for your product online or over the phone, and we will package it and have it ready for contact-free pick up on a date/time of your choice. Or if you are looking for something not available online, please contact us for assistance.

Yes, we sell custom, Canadian-made sofas/chairs by Stylus and Van Gogh Designs. You can select size, configuration, fabric, cushions and other options. Please contact us for details.

Yes, we can arrange delivery of online purchases within Vancouver Island. We also offer limited free local delivery within the immediate Nanaimo area; some sizing restrictions apply. Please contact us to discuss and find out about shipping rates across Vancouver Island.

No! Flying Fish carries thousands of items, with new stock arriving daily. At this time, our website only features a few of our more popular and most requested items. Please feel free to contact us or drop by the store to view the full selection.

Yes! Gift registries are a great way to offer people a selection of gifts to purchase for special events such as showers, weddings and anniversaries. Please contact us for details regarding our gift registry service. Our team would be happy to help you with your registry.

Yes, gift certificates are available for any denomination with no expiration date. You can pay over the phone and we can mail one to the recipient, if desired. We can even add in a greeting card and fill it in for you! These details are best sorted out by phone; please contact us.

Flying Fish is happy to refund or exchange items with their original receipt and in their original packaging within 14 days of purchase.
